Formatting behind a paywall?
Moth Mommy
Hi y'all. I noticed when posting recently that the ability to format anything on your posts is behind a paywall. Is there a reason this is not a free feature? I've never seen that ability paywalled on a platform.

The idea is to give more value to Primfeed Pro. Since the beginning of Primfeed, formatting wasn't available to anyone, so this is not something I've removed from the Free membership.
Do you have an example of social media that allows you to format your text without paying? Except Flickr that allows HTML tags

Luke Rowley Hi Luke! I'm not an expert on social media platforms, just a user with a question. Thank you for your answer! ♥ Tumblr does allow formatting as does Reddit. I'm not sure why Flickr is excluded, but they do allow HTML formatting for non-pro users. Instagram and Facebook don't have built in formatting features, leaving Twitter as the only example of a major social media platform I can think of who makes text formatting within the platform exclusive to paid users. I guess my follow up question then would be, does this mean that there aren't plans for HTML formatting for texts in posts on Primfeed in the future?
(edited to include examples of sites that allow formatting for free users)

This feels like putting the black dress in a fatpack only.
